The law firm Perkins Coie recently launched a user-friendly interactive website that enables entrepreneurs to generate the legal documents needed to form a Delaware "C" corporation, free of charge.
Documents available on the website, startupPerColater.com, include a certificate of incorporation, bylaws, and action by written consent of the sole incorporator.
To aid founders in pursuit of funding, startupPerColator also offers users access to a free customizable term sheet generator that the firm developed based on National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) model documents.
“We launched this site to help entrepreneurs and investors start and grow great companies," said Buddy Arnheim, chair of Perkins Coie's emerging companies practice. "Our startupPerColator provides entrepreneurs access to a free document generator and a blog with rich, dynamic content and helpful tips to guide companies through the start-up process.”
Users who want to stay informed about trends and best practices related to startup business planning, financing and trade secret protection can subscribe to the "Founder Tip of the Week" blog at the startupPerColator.com. Content for the website is continuously updated by Perkins Coie's emerging companies practice attorneys.
