The law firm Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch announced Friday that Endopodium will be the first company to participate in its business incubator program, Procopio LaunchPad.
Endopodium is focused on the development of next-generation visualization technologies for minimally invasive surgical procedures. The company is working on a disruptive standard of visualization by incorporating semiconductor technology into a proprietary “podium,” which will result in superior imaging with the ability to enhance views of the surgical site and surrounding organs from multiple angles.
“We are thrilled to be here, and be a part of the Procopio LaunchPad facility,” Endopodium CEO John Lyon said. “San Diego has an amazing entrepreneurial support community. It’s important to start-ups that we have firms like Procopio leading the way."
Procopio also announced it has opened up the application process for Procopio LaunchPad, accepting company applications through Oct 15, at which time the facility hopes to add an additional three to four companies.
Companies are welcome to apply online at procopiobusinessadvisors.com.
