TriTech SBDC presents Twin Cities Business Success seminar on Oct. 23

TriTech SBDC's next business success seminar will be held Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 5:30-8 p.m. in the Murrieta Innovation Center at 2644 Beckman Court in Murrieta. If you ever sell a product, a service, or anything else, you should attend this event! We have lured a true email and social media marketing expert away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles to demystify the power of online marketing.

First, though, we will take a quick and interactive look at cash flow.This can be a very misunderstood business topic. Many companies that are successfully selling and growing their businesses may actually be at risk of failing because they don't understand this concept. I have personally run into this problem when we grew a company to tens of millions of dollars in sales and had a new CFO come in and tell us that unless we changed our fundamental business immediately that we would be out of business in only a few months. That gets your attention! Creating a cash flow forecast is critical for businesses in every stage of the life cycle, but especially for startups. This will be a short 20 minute (or less!) discussion that focuses on the fundamentals and will provide you with some questions and tools you will need as you grow your business.

The main event will be a fun and educational workshop from Liz Harsch, the owner of Tailor-Made Advertising in Torrance, Calif. She has been helping small businesses make the most of their advertising efforts since 1988. An accomplished media planner, she is a certified Social Media Expert and an Award Winning Constant Contact Business Partner for expediting superior results in Email marketing campaigns and analytics. She is also a Social Media Bootcamp and Business trainer with classes on Facebook, LinkedIn, Analytics, Twitter and Email Marketing.

She is authorized to present "Social Media Made Simple" to organizations and companies looking to educate employees on making more of Social Media. Her experience tracking traditional and online advertising methods sets her apart as she identifies goals for companies and shows them the best way to measure those results and help them achieve their marketing goals.
