TEDxTemeculaSalon looks at 'home-grown innovation'

TEDxTemeculaSalon is hosting a discussion on innovation Thursday, Feb. 20, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Murrieta City Hall, located on 1 Town Square.

Jay Goth is the featured host for this salon and will be presenting and facilitating discussion around hand-picked TED Talks that will inspire discussion about what home-grown innovation does and could look like in our community.

Goth has experience in building companies from scratch. In 1997 he joined four other founding executives to form Commonwealth Energy. Together they raised over $60 million in private capital and grew to over 200 employees and close to $200 million in revenues in just a few short years.

Most recently, he has been involved in the investment banking world and is a senior consultant for TriTech SBDC, where he works with high-value early stage and startup companies in the Temecula Valley. He works closely with the cities of Murrieta and Temecula on economic development projects in the area and is actively involved in creating workshops and educational presentations to entrepreneurs.
