In mid-May, Del Mar will host the Algae World Summit, an event designed to bring key players in the algae industry together to discuss the burgeoning sector.
Produced by the event planning organization Info Cast Inc., the Algae World Summit, held at the Hilton Del Mar on May 17 to 19, will include panel discussions from co-product algae purchasers, oil and chemical companies, utilities, industrial CO2 generators, wastewater treatment operators, algae technology developers, algae equipment suppliers, algae project developers, biofuels refiners, financiers, transportation companies and government representatives.

(NYSE: MRO). Dozens of research companies and universities will send representatives as well.
