Strategic Data Systems names executive VP

Beth Yakel has joined Strategic Data Systems (SDS) as executive vice president of its Government Solutions Business Unit. Founded in 1993, Strategic Data Systems is a certified small business providing Information Technology, Engineering and RFID solutions to government and commercial industry.

Yakel brings more than 25 years of program management experience in federal operations support. She brings experience and expertise in contract and facility operations management including procurement, financial, information technology and program management services. Yakel is an elected member of the board of directors for the San Diego Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and board of directors for the American Council for Technology/Industry Advisory Council (ACT/IAC) Pacific. Most recently, she served as chairwoman for the successful NDIA Cyber Symposium.
