INDUS Technology sets, meets high expectations

Related Special Reports

INDUS Technology, a service disabled veteran-owned small business headquartered in San Diego, provides a multitude of capabilities that are balanced to government and industry clients. These capabilities include (1) engineering and IT services, (2) program management and acquisition management and (3) financial management and ERP.

Formed in 1991 in San Diego by Kathleen Sridhar as a consulting engineering company, INDUS began government services work in early 1998 and has rapidly grown into a firm with an excellent reputation. Under the leadership of James Lasswell, president and CEO, INDUS has expanded its operations nationwide with offices in San Diego; Washington, D.C., Norfolk, Va.; Charleston, S.C.; Tampa, Fla.; Keyport, Wash.; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Phoenix, Ariz.; and Honolulu. While INDUS has been growing at an impressive rate, it will remain a “small business” under its primary NAICS Code of 541330 until next year and will be able to compete as a “small business” under SeaPort-e for the next four years.

This year, as with every year, INDUS has been busy. The company has added Will Nevilles to its management team as senior vice president (SVP) in charge of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) division. Robin Mickle has assumed the role as SVP of business development as well as leading the NAVSEA Warfare Centers activities. Recently, as part of the CACI team, INDUS won the Command and Control Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract worth more than $550 million.

INDUS has also been busy contributing to worthy causes. INDUS hosts an annual golf tournament at Admiral Baker Golf Course. Last year it raised $5,000 for the Susan G. Komen charity.
