St. Bartholomew's Bible study series looks at 'God in America'

St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church is offering Part 2 of the six-week series "God in America" based on the PBS "Frontline" series called "American Experience."

The Rev. Bill Zettinger will explore with you the sweeping history of how religious faith has shaped America. The format will be 60 minutes of video and 30 minutes of discussion.

The topics for the second three weeks are: "A New Light," Oct. 5; "The Soul of a Nation," Oct. 12 and "Of God and Caesar," Oct. 19.

Join Rev. Zettinger for what will be lively discussions on how religious faith and belief have forged America's ideals, molded our identity and shaped our sense of mission at home and abroad.

Time: 10:30 a.m. with lunch and handouts; 7 p.m. with snacks, beverages and handouts.

Cost: Morning Session $25 for three weeks; Evening Session $5 for three weeks
