Frank Runyeon presents a dramatic presentation of the Gospel of Mark on Friday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church.
Imagine, the floor under your feet is dirt, the only light is coming from candles and you are with Jesus. Every Christian has wondered what it would have been like to be with Jesus in Galilee. How - by doing exactly what the evangelist did; by telling the story in the present tense here and now. As Frank Runyeon speaks the Gospel of Mark, he engages the audience's imagination, surprises us with humor and takes us back to be with Jesus. It will be and is great "theater".
After the presentation, you are invited to meet the actor at a special wine and cheese reception in the Parish Hall.
Tickets are $10 per person; children under 18 are free. Child care is available. Tickets are available online at www.stbartschurch.org/signup , by calling the church office (858-487-2159) or at the door.
