Award-winning folksinger-songwriters, Bill and Kate Isles, will give a special concert at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Poway on Sunday, April 15 at 4 p.m. to benefit Interfaith Community Services.
Their songs are poetic and spiritual reflections of life experiences and relationships. They have co-written many songs and have toured nationally, full time, since 2007. Critics have described them as "the perfect blend of two voices." It has been said of Bill, "there's a rounded age to his voice, and a conviction in his words."
Tickets, at $10, may be purchased at www.stbartschurch.org/signup or at St. Bartholomew's, 16275 Pomerado Road, Poway, CA 92064.
Bill and Kate can be heard singing at www.billisles.com. Fr. Fred Thayer, Rector of St. Bartholomew's, recommends especially, "Hobos in the Roundhouse," which reminds him of an old family story as well as St. Bartholomew's participation in ICS's annual rotational shelter program.
