St. Francis and St. Tarcicius Catholic Church, a parish of the Catholic Apostolic National Church, welcomes you in this time of Lent.
We are a small parish devoted to serving all the faithful in the traditional observance of Catholic liturgy at Mass, as well as the three Christian duties of prayer, almsgiving, and fasting.
While we as Christian's strive to pray unceasingly, we do make a special effort to put away most distractions during lent. We strive to give alms (our time, money, clothes and other donations over the year) but redouble our efforts during Lent. In modern times fasting (or self-denial) reminds us of what is really important in life and clarifies the 10th commandment (thou shall not covet) as St. Mathew stated (7:5,NAB), "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy."
We welcome all and especially cultural Catholics seeking to reconnect with the church. See our website for more information: http://ReturningCatholic.com.
