New piano, voice instructor joins St. Bartholomew's Academy of Music and the Arts

St. Bart's Academy of Music and the Arts announces the addition of a new instructor in piano and voice, Brian Wahlstrom. The first lesson with Brian is free.

Baritone, Brian Wahlstrom, has enjoyed a diverse music career performing opera, musical theater and rock around the world. This past year he has appeared several times at the National Center for Performing Arts in Beijing to perform Chinese and Western repertoire with I SING BEIJING. In June, he was invited to Changsha to sing on Hunan TV for the national broadcast of the "Chinese Bridge Show".

As a pianist and songwriter, Brian has toured and recorded with international rock icons Joey Cape and Tony Sly. He has performed extensively in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico and the U.S. He has collaborated with Cape and Sly on six record releases since 2010; he also has written and released two solo albums of his own.

Brian holds a Master's Degree from the Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelor's Degree with Honors from the University of California San Diego.
