Tri-City Medical Center is hosting several events this month in conjunction with National Depression Month. Tri-City Medical is a designated depression screening site for adults and older adults.

WHO: Open to Public, 18 years and older

WHERE: Tri-City Medical Center, 4002 Vista Way, Oceanside, CA 92056, Lower Level Classrooms


COMMUNITY WELLNESS EXPO AND DEPRESSION SCREENING

DATE: Thursday, Oct. 6

TIME: 1-4 p.m.

LOCATION: Tri-City Medical Center, 4002 Vista Way, Oceanside CA, 92056, Assembly Rooms 1, 2 & 3

WHAT: Vendors and agencies from the North County region including; Tri-City Wellness Center, SDCCU, ING, Surf City (yogurt/smoothies), North County health clinics, Yoga Vista, TCIOP, PERT, Exodus, NAMI, RICA, DBSA (Depression Bi-Polar Support Alliance), Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

Keynote speaker, Maggie Reeves, author of ‘Runaway Minds,’ will give a personal account about depression and bi-polar illness.
