Tri-City Medical Center will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for a 57,476-square-foot medical office building on Friday, Oct. 14 from 10-11:30 a.m.
The new medical office marks the first major construction project on the campus in three decades. The building will be built on the west side of the hospital's main entrance off Vista Way in Oceanside. The completed structure will contain doctors' offices and will be the permanent home of the recently opened Orthopaedic and Spine Institute.
Tri-City Hospital District Board members, government and Chambers of Commerce leaders from Oceanside, Carlsbad and Vista, hospital administrators, donors and physicians will be in attendance.
