Mental Health Systems has announced that Linda Wong Kerberg, MFT, joined Mental Health Systems on April 1 as director of clinical services.
Wong Kerberg is part of Mental Health Systems' leadership team and will guide the organization's clinical focus, reporting directly to MHS's president and CEO. Working with the agency's chief medical officer, she will oversee efforts to deliver core services and evaluate, track and improve outcomes for clients, as well as being responsible for setting overall standards and processes for clinical operations in all MHS programs. Through collaboration with clinical staff, Wong Kerberg will ensure that MHS offers a full suite of interventions that will ultimately improve the health and well-being of clients.
Wong Kerberg has over 25 years of executive, clinical, and business development experience in the behavioral health field. She was previously the director of The Children's Initiative, where she directed the publication of the San Diego Report Card on Children and Families. Prior to that position, she served as director of clinical services for Rady Children's Hospital, Chadwick Center, where she directed overall clinical operations and provision of therapeutic care for children and families. Wong Kerberg also held director positions with the County of San Diego Health & Human Services Agency, Center for Community Solutions, and Union of Pan Asian Communities.
Wong Kerberg serves on the United Way of San Diego County's Vision Council for Community Impact, is an advisory board member for the San Diego County Family Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative, and is a past member of the Fieldstone Leadership Academy.
She holds a master's in counseling from SDSU, a bachelor's in psychology from UC Berkeley, and she is a Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist.
