The right tool for the job

When cutting thin sheets of wood to roof a birdhouse, you are not going to use a chain saw, just as when you’re renovating the interior of your building, you are not going to need a 500-man construction crew. You’re going to need experts skilled in the things important to you: high-end finishes, attention to detail, noise control, cleanliness, restoration expertise and, most importantly, good listeners.

Included among the many notable tenant improvement projects is Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch. Located at 525 B Street, this project consisted of five floors of high-end tenant improvement, featuring a four-story staircase connecting the top four floors of this downtown high-rise, a four-story back-lit glass feature wall, rooftop skylight, and an open-air contemplation garden. Also included in this multi-floor project was a new second-floor server room, conference room off of the building’s main lobby and basement storage for the tenant. The project has been certified LEED Gold, and the use of many renewable materials, such as efficient lighting, HVAC systems and water conservation fixtures, were all included in the plan.

Also noteworthy is KPMG — La Jolla Commons. This 28,710-square-foot project is located on the fifth and sixth floors of the LEED Gold certified La Jolla Commons building. The space was in shell condition at commencement, and Suffolk-Roel built out new private perimeter offices, conference rooms, data rooms, break rooms and open office areas. The perimeter offices and conference rooms have glass office fronts and open offices system furniture. The project required upgrades to the existing structure to accommodate the added weight of the owner’s high-density filing system and new operable partition. High-end finishes include marble flooring, walnut paneling, and decorative specialty glass finishes at the reception lobby, elevator lobby and boardroom. This project received a LEED Silver rating.

A tenant improvement company is more than just a construction crew. They partner with the rest of the design team to make your vision a reality. At Suffolk-Roel, we have trained groups dedicated to tenant improvement and special projects. These individuals have received numerous awards and built everything from a kitchen remodel to a Fortune 500 Zen garden.

So no matter the size of your project, we’re confident we have the right tool for the job. With more than 15 years of tenant improvement experience, Suffolk-Roel is proud to be an expert in tenant improvements.
