Carlsbad-based Integral Senior Living, a senior living communities manager, said it recently added Paradise Retirement at Waikiki to its management portfolio. With this new property, ISL now manages 56 communities in 11 states.

“This new community will undeniably offer the premier senior living accommodations in Waikiki, a location long thought of as a resort destination by many, and perfect for retirement,” said Collette Valentine, COO for Integral Senior Living, in a statement. "Paradise Retirement at Waikiki is marketing to baby boomers looking to retire in paradise."

Upon completion it will consist of an upscale 55-and-older retirement resort located near Waikiki. The community will offer independent living units and an improved version of the continuous lifelong care model allowing seniors to "age in place."

Paradise Retirement at Waikiki is being developed by Paradise Retirement Hawaii; a company founded by Christian Sieber. It is expected to break ground in 2013.

Integral Senior Living manages 56 independent, assisted living and memory care properties throughout California, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Texas, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Hawaii and Washington.
