The NECA Chapter of San Diego offers its congratulations to the Dudek family and Saturn Electric Inc. on achieving 50 years in business. Saturn Electric has been a valued NECA member since 1962.

The company was founded in 1963 and quickly established itself in San Diego. Over the next 14 years, Saturn Electric worked on various commercial and industrial installations throughout San Diego.

In 1977, Saturn Electric was purchased by Ronald Dudek. Ron had visited San Diego for a business conference and viewed San Diego as a growing city, one that was only in its infancy stage but would soon be emerging into a major city with tremendous opportunities.

In 1997, Ron's son, Tim Dudek, officially joined the Saturn Electric team. Tim had previously graduated from the University of Southern California in 1987 from the School of Letters, Arts, and Science with a degree in economics.

In 2005, Tim became the president of Saturn Electric Inc. He currently serves as vice president on the board of directors for National Electric Contractors Association and is also a management trustee to San Diego Electrical Annuity Pension Fund.

Saturn Electric currently specializes in commercial, industrial and institutional work with an expertise in areas of renewable energy including electric vehicle charging stations.

Our best wishes go out to Tim Dudek and Saturn Electric Inc. May Saturn Electric enjoy many more years of success.
