Voit Real Estate Services’ San Diego brokerage recognizes top producers of 2011

Voit Real Estate Services’ San Diego office has named its top five brokers of 2011, who together completed nearly 200 sales and lease transactions throughout the past year. Mark Caston, Randy LaChance, Tracy Clark, Arthur Bleier and Tony O’Neill, all of Voit’s San Diego office, have been awarded the distinction of being named Voit’s top producers in the market.

“We are extremely proud to have some of the top producers in our industry working together in one office,” said Chris Wood, managing director of Voit’s San Diego office. “They are a cohesive team that has worked collaboratively for many, many years. Each of these individuals has successfully navigated various market cycles, while consistently performing ahead of the pack.”

Mark Caston, a senior vice president in Voit’s San Diego office, was named Voit’s top sales performer in the San Diego market for a second consecutive year. Caston, who specializes in multi-city/multi-state tenant representation assignments for key corporate clients as well as the sales and leasing of retail properties locally, has been among the top 10 salesmen at Voit since joining the Voit San Diego team in 1988. Caston is widely respected by his clients, not just as a broker, but also as a key strategic adviser to those at the “C” level.

Senior Vice President Randy LaChance once again delivered a strong performance, finishing a close second behind Caston. During his 23-year career with Voit, LaChance has achieved top five status an incredible 19 times, five of which he was honored as the top salesperson for the year.

“LaChance is a true market leader in the sales and leasing of industrial and R&D/office product throughout central San Diego County," Wood said. "Nobody in his market works harder, smarter or with more integrity than Randy.”

Tracy Clark, a senior vice president with Voit since 1991, is an expert in the South County/Chula Vista marketplace specializing in office and retail properties. Clark has repeatedly been a top producer company-wide, and he also is consistently ranked as the dominant broker in his marketplace by a wide variety of metrics.

“Whether a client needs to lease just 2,000 SF or sell a $25 million project, Tracy Clark approaches each deal with the same degree of zeal, dedication and exceptional client-oriented service,” Wood said.

Arthur Bleier, senior vice president, was named a top broker in the South Bay market. A 25-year veteran in the commercial real estate industry, Bleier has also been a top producing broker with Voit for more than 20 years. He specializes in industrial/office sales and leasing in the South San Diego County submarkets ranging from National City to Otay Mesa. Bleier's depth of market knowledge, relationships and negotiating skills are unsurpassed in the South Bay industrial market.

Tony O’Neill, vice president, rounded out the top five performers for 2011. O’Neill is part of Voit’s Investment Sales Group, and his team focuses on sales of distressed residential condos, apartments, subdivisions and land, as well as distressed retail and office product. O’Neill’s skill set and broad reach enables him to specialize in complex loan, receivership and REO sales, not only in San Diego, but also throughout California and across the Voit Real Estate Services platform.

Voit’s San Diego brokerage consists of 25 brokers and three asset/property managers focused on a rapidly growing portfolio of stabilized and distressed properties managed on behalf of financial institutions, individual investors and fund advisers. The company is continuing to grow its brokerage and asset services platforms in San Diego, according to Wood, with the objective of growing its brokerage operation to 50 producers countywide within two to three years.
