The Distinguished Restaurants of North America (DiRoNA) recognized The Oceanaire Seafood Room as a distinguished DiRoNA fine dining restaurant.

To receive the DiRoNA honor, Oceanaire had to show consistent excellence in all facets of the dining experience -- food, beverages, service and environment, as well as consistently provide exceptional quality, value for the dollar and a memorable experience to their guests.

"Receiving the DiRoNA distinction is a credit to the entire staff at The Oceanaire ... We have always taken great care to ensure guests receive superior service and cuisine," says Mike Mitchell, general manager of Oceanaire.

Restaurants are referred to become a DiRoNA establishment by the Distinguished Dining Advisory Council, an anonymous group of hospitality and food industry professionals, food critics and industry magazine publishers. From there, the establishment is evaluated by extensive criteria and an impartial inspection by the only independent and anonymous restaurant inspection program which operates across North America.
