Fitn, a San Diego fitness membership service where individuals can choose from various boutique studios whenever they want and at a fraction of the cost, announced its strategic partnership with AdBoom.
The agency will invest in the company while driving as many as 6,000 new members locally, boosting Fitn revenues to triple digits within the next year.
"Given our rapidly growing customer base and expertise in converting members, partnering with Fitn was an easy decision for our executive team," said Eric Nordyke the CEO of AdBoom. "We know this space inside and out and are actively looking for companies with great business models, products and management teams where we can leverage our expertise to drive seven-figure growth in companies. By investing in Fitn we are investing in the future of fitness and health, because just like AirBnb and Uber it turns unused inventory into profit, and everyone knows the $45 billion fitness industry (which is 40-plus years old) is ripe for a disruptive model like this right now."
Cross-selling to its 20 million-plus customers and leveraging its social media channel expertise, AdBoom aims to help Fitn increase its local membership base and will play a crucial role when the company expands nationally.
"We have an amazing product that everyone naturally loves, because finally with their Fitn membership they can attend all the fun studios they want anywhere in the city (Spin, Yoga, Pilates, Crossfit, etc.)," said David Metzler the CEO of Fitn. "With this partnership with AdBoom in place, now hundreds more members each month will be joining the community and can now experience firsthand all the fun and health benefits, and even bring their friends to all the different studios in the city. Honestly, this agreement is a game changer for us because it gives us a scalable solution to onboard members locally and then expand nationally."
