Top businesses help support 'fiber of San Diego'

Today, the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce will partner with more than 15 of San Diego’s top businesses to recognize small business leaders.

The Networking Power Hour and Small Business Awards Reception celebrates the importance of small business ownership and entrepreneurship — the fiber of San Diego.

In a region where business means small business, this event represents a valuable act of community and encouragement. For more than 15 years, the chamber and other top San Diego businesses has been honoring small business leaders, providing them with the visibility and recognition to continue to help them grow.

The event also provides a rare opportunity for San Diego’s smaller businesses to connect with some of the region’s largest businesses. Up-and-coming small businesses can meet the region’s top executives and representatives from the region’s larger companies. Creating relationships between small and large businesses is key for collaboration, cooperation and growth across the San Diego regional business community.

Hosted by Crowne Plaza San Diego Mission Valley, the event will feature an awards ceremony followed by a special networking session. Award finalists and winners will be announced live during the ceremony. Award categories for small and micro businesses include: Outstanding Emerging Business; Most Innovative Product or Service; Excellence in Customer Service; and Most Innovative Marketing Campaign/Concept.

A special thank you to all of our event and award sponsors: ESET; AT&T; COX Communications; Kaiser Permanente; Chevron; SDG&E; Walmart; Barney & Barney; Blue Shield of California; Chase; SHARP; McKenna Long & Aldridge; Automatic Corporation; The Daily Transcript and Nuffer Smith Tucker.

The small business awards event is a yearly activity many businesses including ours look forward to every time it comes around. We have been finalist 4 times and won our first award this year for Outstanding Emerging Business. ReviewBoost.com would like to thank the chamber for hosting the event and the tireless effort from the Review Boost staff. We are now working onto next year to defend our title.
