CITD promotes exporting assistance at The NAMM Show

Related Special Reports

The San Diego CITD recently had the opportunity to promote assistance to California-based music companies looking to expand internationally at The NAMM Show.

The NAMM Show, which took place from January 24th - 27th at the Anaheim Convention Center, is the world's largest music products trade show and draws more than 100,000 attendees, buyers, and exhibitors from over 90 countries. San Diego CITD International Trade Specialist, Gustavo Guerrero, was on hand to provide information on CITD programs and services and encourage California-based businesses to take advantage of the assistance available through California STEP, a program funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, that helps facilitate export promotion and drive exports for small businesses.

Through California STEP, the San Diego CITD will be able to offset exhibiting costs for 6 California-based companies that would like to participate at NAMM's Musikmesse Russia or ProLight + Sound Russia trade shows in May. In addition, these companies will receive a free U.S. Department of Commerce Gold Key service, which provides customized market and industry research, appointments with prospective trade partners, and debriefings with U.S. Department of Commerce trade specialists.
