The California State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) program, funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration, combines a network of state, federal, private and non-profit trade promotion organizations in California to facilitate export promotion activities, serving targeted industries to drive exports for small business.
The California STEP, through its Border Export Program helps match small and medium-size businesses with companies in the Southern California/Baja California region.
MEXPORT 2013, organized by the Otay Mesa Chamber of Commerce, is the region's premier trade show promoting supplier opportunities in Baja California's manufacturing industry. The San Diego CITD is offering eligible* participant companies counseling sessions with business specialists before or during the expo, at no cost.
