MEXPORT 2013, organized by the Otay Mesa Chamber of Commerce, will take place on May 16th and is the region's premier trade show promoting supplier opportunities in Baja California's manufacturing industry. The San Diego CITD, through its California STEP Border Export Program, is offering eligible* participant companies counseling sessions with business specialists before and during the trade show, at no cost. Business specialists with the CITD will assist Southern California companies find business partners in the Baja California region.

The California State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP)program, funded in part by a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration, combines a network of state, federal, private and non-profit trade promotion organizations in California to facilitate export promotion activities, serving targeted industries to drive exports for small business.

The Border Export Program is the San Diego CITD's California STEP project that helps match small and medium-size businesses with companies in the Southern California/Baja California region.
