CITD co-hosts seminar for San Diego manufacturers

The San Diego Center for International Trade Development (CITD) and the National City Chamber of Commerce co-hosted a seminar for area manufacturers titled "International Opportunities and Resources for San Diego Manufacturers".

The purpose of the seminar was to provide information on various resources available to local manufacturers and opportunities for exporting their products and services.

After opening remarks by Jacqueline Reynoso, CEO of the National City Chamber of Commerce, Brad Raulston, Director of Community Development for the City of National City, and Sid Voorakkara, Senior Business Development Specialist with the State of California's Office of Business and Economic Development, representatives from various trade, economic, and workforce development organizations from both San Diego and Baja California presented on business opportunities in Mexico and overseas, permitting requirements, tools and resources to improve productivity and profitability, as well as manufacturing training and workforce development programs.
