Vic Salazar is president and CEO of Vic Salazar Communications, a full-service public relations agency founded in 2008. The company is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise by CalTrans, a Minority Business Enterprise by the California Public Utilities Commission, an Emerging Local Business Enterprise and Small Local Business Enterprise by the City of San Diego, and a certified Small Business with the state of California's Department of General Services.

Vic Salazar Communications has a successful track record of managing public relations campaigns in both English and Spanish. The principal of the firm, Vic Salazar, draws upon his extensive media experience, professional contacts and communication skills to promote positive exposure of an organization's brand or initiatives. His 26-year career as an Emmy-award winning television news anchor, including two decades in San Diego, has produced valuable relationships with local, state and national decision makers and media gatekeepers. His positive interaction with business, government, education and community leaders prove to be an asset when creating or expanding community outreach programs.

Vic Salazar Communications is currently handling community outreach for four of the city of San Diego's biggest water pipeline replacement projects: Water Group 3012, Water Group 924, Water Group 925 and Upas Street. Three more outreach projects, the La Jolla View Reservoir, Miramar Clearwells and College Ranch Hydro Pump Station will begin in late 2012.
