Tealium launches digital tag management product add-on

Del Mar-based Tealium announced Wednesday the launch of Tealium DataCloud, an add-on service in its tag management offerings that enables digital marketers to tap into an actionable source of all of their digital data.

The company made the announcement on the eve of Digital Velocity, a tag management user conference that will run Jan. 24- 25 at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.

By adding Tealium DataCloud to Tealium iQ, the company's standard tag management product, customers can get a raw feed of data, store it in a centralized location, and then make it available to data-driven marketing teams, the company said.

The new offering also adds the ability to handle non-JavaScript tagging environments, such as Google Checkout, which do not accept the JavaScript tags that most vendors use.

According to Tealium, the data feed from Tealium DataCloud can be imported into business intelligence platforms, big data platforms, or third-party reporting tools, including ones offered by AgilOne, Anametrix, Tableau Software and Quantivo.
