Novatel Wireless Inc. (Nasdaq: NVTL) has entered into a supply agreement with LoJack SCI, Novatel announced Monday.
The agreement includes machine-to-machine mobile tracking and workforce monitoring devices by Novatel Wireless, which will serve as a key component of LoJack SCI’s cargo and asset tracking offerings.
LoJack Supply Chain Integrity (LoJack SCI) provides supply chain protection in transportation that include shared supply chain intelligence and analytics, covert cargo tracking, monitoring, and recovery services.
The agreement also provides for recurring revenue share by Novatel Wireless, which is based in San Diego, generated from LoJack SCI’s service offerings facilitated by Novatel Wireless technology.
LoJack SCI will market, install and service a wide range of Novatel Wireless’ Mobile Tracking and workforce monitoring solutions, including its MT 4000 and the Mini-MT, according to the release. Novatel's Mobile Tracking products will be optimized and integrated with the LoJack InTransit platform to provide security, chain of custody and environmental tracking of cargo and related assets.
