Zeeto Media celebrated its downtown expansion project Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, mimosas and Bloody Marys.
The office, at 925 B St., models itself after those in San Francisco's popular SoMa, or South of Market, area. Perks include a large pingpong table, and employees can bring in their dogs.
Founded in 2010 with just three employees, Zeeto has grown to more than 50.
Zeeto Media is a "premium content publisher" that specializes in customized advertising programs across the Web, social media, mobile and email.
Their flagship property is a daily deal site (www.GetItFree.us) for cost-conscious customers.
The site tracks in around 50,000 visitors a day and around 2 million monthly, with more than 3 million likes on its Facebook page (Women Get It Free).
"I’m very excited to officially open the newly expanded Zeeto Media office space. We had to double the office size just to keep up with the growth of the company, and the increased space allowed us to hire seven new employees in the last 30 days alone,” said Stephan Goss, CEO of Zeeto Media.
Joining Goss was former mayor and San Diego Regional Chamber CEO Jerry Sanders; President and CEO of Downtown Partnership Kris Michell; and San Diego City Councilman Kevin Faulconer.
“Zeeto Media is a great success story and represents the next generation of business leaders in San Diego’s tech scene,” Sanders said.
