Voxox, a San Diego-based cloud communications application developer, announced on Tuesday the addition of Joe Schiavone as the company's national channel manager.
Schiavone will be tasked with further developing and growing the company's channel partner program for business cloud services, Voxox said in a release. The developing services include the company's hosted Internet protocol private branch exchange, session-initiated protocol trunking and several wholesale services, such as high-volume short message services and the company's new virtual private branch exchange service, Cloud Phone.
Schiavone has a history in distribution channel development, having developed strategic partnerships with industry groups such as HTG, Connect Wise and Tiger Paw. He's spearheaded national account programs throughout the United States and in areas areound the globe with brands including Ralph Lauren, State Farm Insurance, Subway and Bed Bath & Beyond, Voxox said.

Schiavone most recently was the vice president of channel sales, hosted PBX and cloud technology at FreedomVoice Communications. He holds a master's degree in business administration from Rutgers University and a bachelor's of science from Syracuse University.
