EO Accelerator program focuses on local entrepreneurs committed to accelerated business growth, change

Related Special Reports

The Entrepreneurs' Organization Accelerator program announced its ongoing support for assisting small businesses looking to stimulate economic growth in 2015.

With small businesses feeling optimistic about the economic outlook in the coming year, the Accelerator program's growth-driven curriculum aims to help companies face current and new challenges. "Accelerator has helped me completely transform my business through mentorship, learning, and peer experience sharing," said Julien Brandt, CEO of Organik SEO.

For more than eight years, the Accelerator program has taken first-stage business leaders with gross annual incomes ranging between US$250,000 and US$1 million, and turned them into industry leaders. Once this revenue guideline has been surpassed, business owners are invited to join the Entrepreneurs' Organization.

"I've been a part of many business groups in the past, and this is the first that truly focuses on reaching objective financial goals with the support of business owners who own multi-million dollar companies — they're not just blowing smoke, they've successfully grown their companies above a million and in most cases far beyond. The mentorship and tools they share have been invaluable to me and my young company," said Tara Brouwer, CEO of Shovel Creative.

The program's extensive curriculum addresses four key issues that impact prospective businesses, including strategic planning, sales and marketing, human resources and finance.

Some benefits of becoming a participant of the Accelerator program include:

• Peer to peer learning through experience sharing

• Mentorship

• Tips and strategies for increasing capital

• Practical feedback to help you grow sales effectively

"We are proud to support entrepreneurs and their passion to further develop their business. We are looking for Entrepreneurs that are truly committed to change and growth as we expand our local program in 2015," said Jim Matteo, Board Chair of the Entrepreneurs' Organization San Diego Accelerator Group.
