In less than four years, the BOMA 360 Performance Program has become a distinguished designation to indicate a building is operating at the highest standards of excellence. Nearly 600 buildings across the United States have received this designation since its launch in 2009.
“The BOMA 360 designation is the only achievement in the commercial real estate industry of its kind that evaluates the best practices that make a building function at its highest level of excellence,” said BOMA San Diego President Mike Hansen of CBRE. “This designation gives buildings a clear competitive edge against other buildings in their markets.”
The BOMA 360 Performance Program, sponsored by BOMA International, evaluates buildings against industry best practices in six major areas: building operations and management; life safety, security and risk management; training and education; energy; environmental and sustainability; and tenant relations and community involvement. Individual buildings that satisfy the requirements in all six areas are awarded the BOMA 360 designation.
BOMA 360 offers property management professionals a way to differentiate their assets in a competitive and demanding marketplace. By providing third-party validation of practices and procedures, BOMA 360 offers a tool that property professionals can use to demonstrate to owners, tenants and prospective tenants that their buildings perform at the highest levels in all major areas of building operations and management.
Local BOMA 360 buildings include:
