Gomez Law Firm continues to shine in 2010

Related Special Reports

Only 5 years old, the Gomez Law Firm continues its rapid ascension as one of California’s top injury and trial firms. This year again, the firm’s lawyers achieved some remarkable successes. Attorney Robert Hamparyan obtained a $1.4 million verdict in Los Angeles for a woman that suffered a knee injury when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street. He also was named a “Super Lawyer” in the personal injury field, and received an “Outstanding Trial Lawyer” award from Consumer Attorneys of San Diego for his recent $13 million dollar verdict in a brain injury case.

Attorney James Iagmin teamed with John Gomez to obtain a $1.7 million verdict on behalf of a local law student and Marine Corps reservist who struck a car stalled out on the freeway at night. He received two “Outstanding Trial Lawyer” awards for that case, and a teacher-student sex abuse case, and was named both a “Super Lawyer” and one of San Diego’s Top 10 Personal Injury attorneys by The Daily Transcript.

Gomez was named one of San Diego’s “50 People to Watch” by San Diego Magazine, one of San Diego’s “Top 50 Super Lawyers,” one of San Diego’s Top 25 Attorneys by San Diego Metropolitan Magazine, and one of that magazine’s 2010 “Metro Movers.” He obtained a highly publicized $10.8 million verdict against Pizza Hut for the negligent conduct of its delivery driver, and continued his representation of the family of CHP Officer Mark Saylor in its lawsuit against Toyota and Bob Baker Lexus. For his body of outstanding work and contributions, he was named the 2010 Consumer Attorneys of San Diego’s “Trial Lawyer of the Year.”

Perhaps most importantly, the Gomez Law Firm is a community leader. This year, the firm’s attorneys and staff volunteered for and contributed to causes ranging from “La Cuna,” The Chicano Federation, the National Latino Police Officers Association, Malashock Dance, San Diego Volunteer Lawyers, The San Diego County Bar Association, the Community Youth Athletic Center and Special Olympics.

In just five years, the Gomez Law Firm has made a difference and will continue to make a difference for years to come.
