Science Applications International Corp. received the Frances Perkins Vanguard Award from the U.S. Small Business Administration. SAIC received the award in recognition for its exemplary utilization of women-owned small businesses.
In honor and recognition of Delores Braswell, who passed away in August 2001 after a long bout with cancer, the San Diego District Office of SBA has designated its Women in Business Advocate Award as the Delores Braswell Award: Advocating Women in Business.
