PRESIDENT'S CIRCLE
What inspires innovation? It is having a goal or solving a problem that drives innovation. Innovation resulted in the conception of the Athena Century Club in 2003. In that year, five young women who received the Athena Pinnacle Scholarship passionately described their goal to embark on a career in the sciences. Each shared their aspirations, ranging from the desire to develop new technologies to solve complex problems, to engaging in research to find cures for diseases such as cancer.
