Designed to operate on 2.4, 4.9, 5.2 and 5.8-gigahertz spectrum bands (also known as 802.11a/b/g/n+), the antenna is ideal for integration into a variety of devices, including mobile phones, notebook computers, industrial handhelds and access points.
Ethertronics’ WiFi/WLAN quad-band antenna is based on the company’s patented Isolated Magnetic Dipole technology, allowing for quicker time to market, minimizing antenna size without degrading performance, and optimizing antenna patterns and operating characteristics without being effected by surrounding component placement and supporting high volume manufacturing processes by being surface mountable.
InfoSonics Corp., a distributor of wireless handsets and accessories in Latin America and the United States, announced that it has an agreement with Broadlink Research for the distribution of a Disney branded cell phone designed and produced to meet the communication and security needs of parents seeking a responsible solution when they decide to give their children a cell phone.
The phone incorporates different Disney characters, themes and designs.The company will provide certification, sales, marketing, assembly and distribution services for this branded cell phone in Latin America, including the Caribbean, and Central and South America. The product has been delivered to major carriers including two in Chile and one in Mexico. The phones for Mexico were assembled at the InfoSonics facility in Mexico.
