MicroPower Technologies adds Ann Chamberlin as VP of sales

MicroPower Technologies Inc., a San Diego-based provider of surveillance solutions, named Ann Chamberlin as the company’s new vice president of sales.

Chamberlin’s experience includes creating strategic sales direction, establishing repeatable sales processes, and developing and optimizing metrics for a wide range of technology companies. Her key strengths are growing revenue and maximizing profit by standardizing sales processes and building high-performance, scalable teams for early-stage and emerging entrepreneurial organizations.

Chamberlin most recently served as vice president of global sales for Send Word Now, an SaaS-based provider of emergency notification services.

Prior to Send Word Now, Chamberlin helped build enterprise, SMB, higher education and partner initiatives at Everbridge, an interactive communications and mass notification company. During her six-year tenure, she helped the company take advantage of new market opportunities and achieved more than 200 percent growth. Earlier, Chamberlin re-engineered a new SMB channel group for ZyXEL, a provider of broadband access solutions for service providers and business and home users. Prior to ZyXEL, she built an enterprise sales and account management team in her role as regional sales director for Intel/Trillium Digital Systems.

Chamberlin earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of the Pacific and her master’s degree in international business from Webster University.
