LifeProof, a maker of all-protective, everyday cases for smartphones and tablets, announced Tuesday that Alan Cohen has been named chief marketing officer.
He will be responsible for leading all marketing functions at the company, including marketing strategy, product marketing, trade marketing, advertising, digital marketing, events and public relations.
Cohen is a senior digital and traditional chief marketing officer with more than 15 years of experience and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
Prior to LifeProof, Cohen held the position of CMO at Westfield, a global real estate investment trust (REIT) that operates one of the world's largest shopping center portfolios. Prior to Westfield, Cohen was CMO for Gemstar-TV Guide and Napster.
He was previously selected by Advertising Age magazine as one of the top 100 marketers in the United States. He holds an M.B.A. from Indiana University and a B.S. from Northern Illinois University.
