Search Optics picks AIS for IT infrastructure services

San Diego’s AIS (American Internet Services), a provider of data center and cloud service solutions, announced that Search Optics, an automotive digital marketing solutions provider, selected AIS as its IT infrastructure service partner in the Southwest.

The services delivered to Search Optics include colocation, on-premise ethernet cabling, and NetApp managed storage.

AIS provided a packaged solution that includes structured cabling tailored for Search Optics' new office location in central San Diego. Unlike any other data center operators in Southern California, AIS has the only manufacturer-certified connectivity cabling installers for projects ranging from custom racks, cages, and suites all the way up to full office, building, and campus deployments.

For data storage, AIS' managed offering provides Search Optics easy access to NetApp enterprise-class storage with minimal management overhead. In this approach AIS owns and maintains the underlying infrastructure so that customers need only pay for the NetApp storage resources allocated to them -- a smart, cost-effective model for many small and medium business customers.
