Verimatrix, a San Diego provider of revenue security for multinetwork digital TV services, announced on Sunday that CTH Public Co. Ltd., a service provider for 300 cable operators in Thailand, has selected Verimatrix Video Content Authority System to provide revenue security for its new digital cable service.
CTH is reportedly one of the top pay-TV operators in Thailand, offering more than 140 channels, with around 30 in high definition quality. The service provider selected Verimatrix's Video Content Authority System for DVB-Hybrid to fuel its analog-to-digital transition.
The Verimatrix cardless security system is intended to secure linear and on-demand content delivery, reducing operating expense and capital expenditures as the operator expands its services. Goldenduck International Co. Ltd served as the systems integrator for the project, Verimatrix said.
