CSUSM hosts free 'Politics of Water' forum

California State University San Marcos will host the second forum in the Free Forum Series "Fresh Perspectives on California's Water Future" at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14 in the campus' University Student Union Ballroom 2300.

Expert panelists will discuss the shifts and changes taking place in the state's water power structures, players and coalitions.

The moderator is Dr. Lee Brown, academic coordinator at CSUSM. Panelists are: Richard Atwater, executive director for the Southern California Water Committee; Bettina Boxall, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter for the Los Angeles Times; Frances Spivy-Weber, vice chair of the California Water Resources Control Board; and Eric Larson, executive director of the San Diego County Farm Bureau.
