As a senior litigation paralegal with the Los Angeles office of Foley & Lardner LLP, Kathryane Foster manages large litigation cases; maintains records of all case files; prepares attorneys for depositions, hearings and trials; performs daily computer research; interfaces with clients, witnesses, vendors, experts and court personnel; and prepares correspondence and various documents needed for cases. Her trial experience includes a case involving the human genome decoder, cow cloning technology and shoe-cushioning technology.
With more than 16 years of IP litigation experience, Foster works with high-profile partners in this area of law. Prior to joining Foley & Lardner LLP, Foster was with Lyon & Lyon LLP in San Diego for 11 years.
Foster completed the Legal Assistant Training Program, approved by the American Bar Association, at the University of California, San Diego, Extension in 1990. She has an undergraduate degree from Weber State University, Ogden in Utah.
