Katie González joined Hulett Harper Stewart LLP as its primary paralegal and coordinator of the firm's caseload in securities, antitrust and consumer and business litigation. Because of her commitment to excellence, attention to detail and strong organization skills, González has become a vital and integral part of the law firm and its activities.
González recently worked on a monthlong trial in San Diego Superior Court against Caesars Entertainment Inc. and Harrah's Entertainment Inc., making sure counsel was well-prepared for trial and the possible unexpected. As the paralegal in charge of trial support, she supervised the trial team and was responsible for the tracking of witnesses, witness preparation, witness notebooks, and preparation and maintenance of trial exhibit notebooks; she also edited depositions and prepared video clips for presentation in trial.
González continues to work closely with the attorneys in her office to bridge the paper and technological aspects of case management. She recently coordinated the redesign of Hulett Harper's Web site and currently maintains online content. She is also responsible for creating and maintaining the firm's document production and deposition transcript databases.
González graduated from the University of San Diego in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. She completed the university's paralegal program with honors the same year, and later received a certificate in intellectual property, also with honors.
