As a senior paralegal with DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary, Kori Kempton attends and assists attorneys at trial; performs case management; assists in preparing discovery, pre-trial and trial motions; manages case Web rooms; summarizes depositions; and reviews, indexes, organizes and analyzes documents produced. She has been with the firm since 1997. Previously she was with the United States Attorney's Office in San Diego as a paralegal intern.
She has recently assisted in such high-profile patent cases as Charles E. Hill & Associates v. Amazon.com, Inc. et.al., Hewlett-Packard v. Gateway and Rambus v. Infineon.
During a five-year period, Kempton assisted in representation of pro bono plaintiffs in unfair business practices action stemming from illegal foreclosures and mortgage brokering practices regarding low-income residential property in Palo Alto, Calif.
Kempton received a paralegal certificate from the University of San Diego in 1997.
