Videos from JA BizTown's Grand Opening.

This fall marked the Grand Opening of Junior Achievement of San Diego and Imperial Counties first JA BizTown in California, an interactive mini-city built to allow local fifth graders to experience entrepreneurial lessons in a hands-on environment.

Following the completion of a four-week in-class curriculum, students will visit JA BizTown's 10,000-square-foot learning facility to work in one of the 19 sponsored shops, including The Daily Transcript. While working at JA's Transcript shop, students will: report on the happenings of BizTown, sell advertisement & newspapers, take photos, layout the newspaper and post stories online at ja.sddt.com.
