Liz Mackres has been with Casey Gerry Schenk Francavilla Blatt & Penfield LLP since 1989, when she was hired by the firm as Information Systems Manager, after serving in similar capacities with San Diego Credit Association and Torrey Pines Bank. She has been firm administrator since 2001, managing a staff of 29 employees.  She is responsible for the firm’s financial reporting and employee benefits administration.

Mackres believes her primary role in the firm is to develop and maintain policies, procedures and systems that allow the partners, associates and staff to effectively manage their cases to ensure the best possible outcome for each of their clients.

She attended California State University, Northridge and continues to pursue educational opportunities by taking classes at UCSD Extension and by being an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators, where she currently serves as treasurer.

Mackres lives with her daughter in El Cajon, where she serves as vice president of her homeowners association.
