Welcome to the Executive Profiles section of Point Loma Nazarene University's Master of Business Administration program. Featuring current graduates of the MBA as well as the members of the faculty, the intention is to provide the San Diego business community a convenient connecting point to the high quality individuals involved in the Point Loma Nazarene University MBA. As members of the Fermanian School of Business at PLNU, over 500 students are currently pursuing either undergraduate or graduate business degrees in both day and evening classes.

Mr. Mark Schieber

2008 Graduates

Industrial Distribution Group (IDG)

Mr. Mark Schieber is the San Diego and Baja California Regional Account Manager for Industrial Distribution Group. Mark is responsible for new business development and the implementation of supply chain and vendor managed inventory initiatives at manufacturing facilities on both sides of the border.


Prior to Industrial Distribution Group, Mark was an Account Executive at Unisource Worldwide Inc. and before that, Sales Representative at Imagistics Inc. He speaks fluent Spanish and is accomplished in the areas of: sales, marketing, distribution, business development, and new account penetration. Other interests include: internet marketing, cash flow analysis and working with the time value of money.


Schieber holds a B.A in International Business from San Diego State University and an MBA from Point Loma Nazarene University. His MBA thesis project involved the improvement of cross border logistics and the implementation of just in time delivery measures for maquiladora manufacturing plants in Baja California.


Mark is a Native San Diegan who enjoys world music, personal finance, international cuisine and surfing the globe.
