Mr. Tim West

2008 Graduates

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.

A 10-year veteran of the company, Mr. Tim West is a Vice President and Senior Commercial Loan Officer for the Southern California Business Banking Division of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., which serves more than 5,900 customers. In this capacity, he is responsible for generating new small business loan sales for businesses between $1 million and $30 million in annual revenues. In doing so, he analyzes, structures, underwrites, prices and negotiates credit requests based on risk and value of the client’s relationship. He is among the top producing commercial lenders in the company and has significant experience with interest rate derivatives such as swaps, caps and collars.

Tim began his career at Wells Fargo in 1998 and has held several positions within the bank throughout his tenure. Before assuming his current position, Tim served as a Private Banker, providing relationship management to a portfolio of high net worth clients.

Tim is an associate member of the San Diego chapter of the Risk Management Association, which advances the use of sound risk principles in the financial services industry. He has passed the Series 7 General Securities Registered Representative Exam in 2004 as well as passed the Risk Management Association’s Credit Risk Certification (CRC) Exam in 2007.

Tim has a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Organizational Psychology—with honors—and a Master of Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University. His MBA thesis project was a real estate development guide and tool for a boutique development company he founded.

Tim and his wife reside in Downtown San Diego, California.
