Jennifer L. Grygiel has been a paralegal and legal analyst since 1995, and has worked with Rogitz & Associates, a patent prosecution law firm, since 2003. Although her pervious experience was concentrated in intellectual property litigation, Grygiel’s excellent ability to learn quickly made her extremely proficient in tasks related to patent prosecution, such as domestic and foreign database management, coordination and implementation of calendaring and docketing, data entry and client communication.
From 2000 to 2003, Grygiel worked at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, where she worked in the securities litigation department. Her experience in preparing all manner of litigation materials and SEC filing dramatically increased her already exceptional organizations skills.
Grygiel began her legal experience with Lyon & Lyon in 1991 as a receptionist, while attending college at night to obtain her AA in paralegal studies. She continued with her education, successfully completing the paralegal studies program through the University of San Diego with emphasis on civil litigation.
At Lyon & Lyon she was quickly recognized for her exceptional work ethic and was promoted to IP litigation paralegal, managing all facets of two, high-profile, complex intellectual property litigation trials in Delaware.
Grygiel is actively involved with her husband and two sons and has a strong sense of commitment to her community. She is currently team parent for Singing Hills Little League, team parent and division representative for El Cajon AYSO and teaches classes in children’s liturgy at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in El Cajon, Calif.
